Is this possible? Peanut actually sleeping during her nap time? In her crib??? I don't want to speak too soon, but...
The last two days were extremely frustrating. After much thinking and rethinking, I decided Peanut is overtired, and it just got built up. This morning, after picking Peanut up from her crib, though she smiled at mommy like usual, she didn't jabber like usual. So I figured she probably still needs to catch up on her sleep somehow. Also, rather than stimulating her with toys and music and me talking, I let her play, but really low key. I limited the play time and lengthened the quiet time. Just so that she's prepared to go to bed. Sure enough, she napped! OK, the first portion of the nap was interrupted because she pooped in her sleep, which has not happened since her infancy. It freaked her out. She let out a cry like she was scared, which I have never heard before. I rushed to her, changed her, then rocked her back to sleep. This took a bit of time, since she was rudely woken up. Anyways, for the second portion of the same nap time, she's been down for over an hour now! Yipee, skippee! This makes momma so happy and proud!
I would show you a picture of her sleeping during her nap, but the room is dark and I don't want to disturb her. Sorry. You'll just have to take my word for it. There's nothing like a sleeping angel in her crib during nap time. :)
