Random things:1. Check out Peanut in her little "Bloomers".
2. Picture of Peanut somewhat sitting up, with not-quite-so-crazy hair day.
3. Peanut is teething probably. This has been going on for awhile. But lately, it's bothered her so much that it's taken her 2-3 hours to fall asleep on some days. Sometimes she really cries with real tears. Sometimes she just whines. Nothing works. Not rocking her, not patting her, not shushing her, not Tylenol. Finally, I tried the Teething Tablets by Hyland's. OK, this thing must have voo-doo powers. Peanut was asleep in less than 10 minutes! I've tried it now twice. It's the same both times.
4. Peanut HATES wet diapers. She's now even waking herself up at night time/wee hours of the morning, asking for a diaper change. Do we have early potty training in our future???5. Peanut HATES rolling over. She will do everything she can to resist being rolled over. It's actually kind of funny. So of course we try to roll her over just to see her resist. Hee-hee.
6. Peanut LOVES to stand on her feet and toes. She literally dances when she gets to stand up. I have a feeling that Peanut might just skip over rolling over, sitting, to standing. OK, not really, but that's what it seems like right now.
7. I'm waiting for Peanut to learn to sit by herself to start trying her on solids. As stated above, sitting is not quite her thing either. She'll tolerate it though, sitting on my lap or floor, with her back against me. Otherwise, if you prop her up with Boppy or pillows, she'll promptly slide down and end up laying there. Or she'll do a face-plant and she will let you know she DOES NOT like it! LOL
8. Peanut LOVES to touch, feel and grab things, especially when we're outside. She likes to touch the leaves on the trees or the flowers. Or really, anything. When she's interested, she'll stick out her hand. When she's not, she won't. Little missy knows what she likes and wants and what she doesn't!
9. Peanut's overall formula intake is up from just a couple of weeks ago. We think she's plumping herself up again, after losing a little bit of bulk earlier. However, with her teething, we now have to fight to get the bottle in her to begin with. Once it's in, usually she'll take the bottle okay. Sometimes she just tries to amuse us by allowing us to stick the bottle in, but she won't really suck. She usually can eat pretty fast, within 5-10 minutes. Now, it's taking longer, like 10-15 minutes. I've fed her one time for 20+ minutes with just half a bottle. Sure hope this will pass soon...
10. Can you believe she's almost 6 months old? Her uncle and auntie, who are very into photography now, are coming this weekend for a visit. We hope to squeeze in a photo session. Will share the photos later.
