P: No! 不在!
PM: Where did Peanut go? 請問 Peanut 去哪裡?
P: Work! 上班.
PM: Where is Peanut working? 請問 Peanut 在哪裡上班?
P: Costco!
PM: Oh, what time will she be back? 請問 Peanut 什麼時候會回來?
P: 2:30! 二點半!
This conversation reveals a couple of things.
1. Are we always at work when we're not home?
2. We must go to Costco a lot!

P: Mamma, please close the door. 媽媽, 請幫我關起來 門.
In English, this seems like a perfectly fine sentence. Except, she was speaking in Chinese... using English grammar. It's as if she said, "Mamma, please door close." She doesn't even speak English and she's already using English grammar! These ABCs (American-born Chinese)!
